We took advantage of our current location and got the kids involved in Junior Week at the Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville. 

Locals claim this program is one of the most active and best Optimist sailing camps on the east coast. We were impressed. The kids were fully immersed in knot tying, sail rigging, sail trim, lots of laughing, pool parties and much camaraderie for the week. 

They experienced a variety of weather conditions and learned how to handle their boats alone and with a partner out on Fishing Bay every day. We were so impressed with our T’s natural knowledge and his desire to go fast.
